The Engagement

October 2nd, 2008 on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial I asked Rebecca a simple question as I placed a ring on her finger ... down on one knee I asked "Will you marry me?" Her answer was "Yes". I pulled her to the ground and kissed her, then leaned back and shouted "She said yes!" The applause followed as on-lookers cheered our new engagement.

our song

At last my love has come along
My lonely days over
And life is like a song

At last the skies above are blue
My heart was wrapped in clover
The night I looked at you

I found a dream that I could speak to
A dream that I could call my own
I found a thrill to press my cheek to
A thrill that I have never known

You smile and then the spell was cast
And here we are in heaven
For you are mine at last
